Holly Jolly Holiday Movie List #StyledByMarina
Hey, my awesome readers, I don't know about you but I am a sucker for a good holiday movie. Well, to be fair, I'm a film fanatic in general. Since I haven't really done any Christmas themed blog post, I figured I'd pop on here and make a list of my all-time favorite holiday/Christmas movies and share it with you guys. With Christmas and New Year approaching, what better ways to spend your weekends and day off watching some good old festive films with a hot cup of cinnamon tea in your hand? Without further ado, here are 15 of my all-time favorite holiday movies you should watch / re-watch this holiday season:
1. The Holiday (2006)
2. New Year's Eve (2011)
3. Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
5. The Polar Express (2004)
6. Four Christmases (2008)
7. Home Alone (1990)
8. A Christmas Carol (2009)
9. Harry Potter Series ( It's a must!)
10. Love, Actually (2003)
11. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
12. It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
13. Serendipity (2001)
14. Sleepless in Seattle (1993)
15. Jack Frost (1998)
These are just MY personal favorites, feel free to fill me in on some of the other classic holiday films I failed to mention, I will definitely check them out this Christmas :)
While we are on the topic of Christmas and holiday spirits, I recently went to a get-together lunch with my entire family at a nice little Italian restaurant, I thought I'd do a little outfit share as well. Here we go!
Wearing:
Blue Velvet Shirt - Vii&Co

Black Pencil Skirt - Meierq
Combat Boots - Forever 21
Black Velvet Waist Bag - Vii&Co
Deerstalker - Portobello Road Market
Deerstalker - Portobello Road Market
Continuing with the velvet trend, I wear a super soft and warm blue velvet top and simply paired it with my high-waisted black velvet pencil skirt, you can tell by now that I'm obsessed with velvet clothing. To accessorize, I recently purchased this really retro looking black velvet waist bag, I just tied it around my waist to add a little more detail to my outfit. As for hats, I bought this super cool deerstalker hat from my trip to London back in June, I never got the chance to wear it til now, the weather is finally getting colder here in my city and I just had to wear it out when I have the chance. The deerstalker is without a doubt my favorite part of my look. It just reminds me of Sherlock Holmes and adds such an interesting and unique touch to my whole look.
As much as I adore different kinds of hats, I feel like during summertime it's always too hot to wear them. I do have quite a collections of hats, so when winter comes, I try my best to include them in my everyday outfits.
That's about it, guys. Let's get talking and let in know in the comments below if you have watched some of the movies I mentioned above on my holiday movie list, feel free to share your thoughts and tell me which movies are your favorites!
