Autumn Tag: The Movie
After an unbearably hot summer, I am thrilled and pleased that we've officially entered the autumn season. Although in East Asia, most countries still have days where there is 30 degrees heat. I, however, am determined to get into the autumn spirits regardless of the current outside weather. If you are an Autumn/Winter-person and look forward to all that is spooky like me, then please, by all means, grab a cup of hot coffee or tea or cocoa, and enjoy this cinnamon and vanilla infused post all about Autumn.
I tag all of you that are reading this post and have a love for the harvest season to answer these autumn-themed questions to celebrate the start of this magical and beautiful season.
1. Hot Coffee or tea?
Give me a hot, well-brewed black coffee anytime. Although I love vanilla cinnamon tea as well.
2. Best way to spend a chilly, rainy day?
Stay home, curl up in bed with a hot drink in hand and watch a couple of festive movies.
3. A walk in the woods or shopping at the mall?
I imagine a walk in the woods on a proper chilly and crisp autumn day would be magical.
4. Favorite fall scents?
Cinnamon, vanilla, and pumpkin of course!
5. Pumpkin picking or haunted house/rides?
Never been to a proper pumpkin farm, would love to go. So I've got to go with haunted houses and rides on this one. I LOVE going through different themed haunted houses.
6. Movies that can always get you into Autumn/Halloween spirit?
Hands down the Harry Potter Series. Other Halloween themed movies like Hocus Pocus, The Craft are among some of my favorites as well.
7. Favorite TV shows to watch during Autumn?
Currently, I am rewatching all the Supernatural seasons and I've found that the early episodes are proper scary and quite suitable for Autumn/Halloween. Pretty Little Liars is also a good show to watch during this time of year, especially their Halloween episodes.
8. Favorite Autumn song?
Simon & Garfunkel's "Scarborough fair" & "Sound of Silence", Terry Jacks' "Seasons in the Sun"
9. Best horror movie you've ever seen?
The 90s to me has some really cool, slightly cliche but still rather enjoyable horror films such as Urban Legend and I Know What You Did Last Summer.
10. Witches, vampires or ghosts?
Witches all the way.
11. Cozy fireplace or dim candlelight?
Flickering, creepy candlelight!
12. Dream autumn travel destination?
I've always wanted to have a Halloween experience in Salem, Massachusetts. The idea of learning about the history of Salem and the Witch Trial and to visit the cemetery and museum seems so interesting and educational.
13. Your go-to autumn makeup look?
Burgundy colored eye shadows, dark lips, witchy vibe.
14. Favorite books/novels/poems to read this time of year?
Ray Bradbury's novels are a must. T.S Eliot's poetry has always given me autumnal vibes as well.
15. Where are you located and describe what it is like in your hometown during autumn?
Taipei, Taiwan. The weather in September and October is generally still hot and humid so I've always wanted to experience a proper autumn with leaves turning colors, pumpkin picking and wondering in the woods and such.
Alrighty, that concludes this autumn blog post! If you guys are interested in answering all the questions above and write an Autumn Tag post of your own, feel free to use these questions and leave a comment below with your blog post link so I could have fun reading all of them!
