Heidelberg Anecdotes

Few things I truly treasure and are essential in my life,
Those that fuel us and keep us moving forward through it all,
The things that can inflict the most visceral and ethereal feelings out of us.
Keeping us alive between each inhale and exhale of breath.

I took a long walk in a chilly morning in Heidelberg, meandering through the cobblestoned streets with a good cup of sugarfree black coffee in hand, letting its velvety texture and hot liquid intoxicate me. With a little Simon & Garfunkel playing in my ear, I saunter onto the Old Bridge where you get a panoramic view of the city and Schloss Heidelberg standing tall and ever-so-gloriously upon the hill. Didn't Geothe once said architectures are frozen music? I believe I'm starting to understand what he means by it.

'Music is liquid architecture; architecture is frozen music' Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

I will see you gorgeous people in Belgium next :) xx

  3. Your photographs are remarkable, they look like a dream especially the one taken on top of the hill over looking a town. Are old cities of Germany look like this because Colmar also looks similar.

  10. the scenery is very beautiful and extraordinary. I have never been there, I really want to go there. I hope one day I can go there! This place is what everbody imagines as the typical historic German look. However and although there is a lot of touristic activity going on, it has all its genuine charm.
