Dreaming of a Glorious Time

I dreamed of a glorious time.

All glammed up, jewels on deck.

Golden dress and Bordeaux lips.

Champagne in hand, always dress to impress.

Regal presence, aristocratic etiquette that keeps them in check.
It's not a proper luncheon, without a full-on reception. 

We speak with style as if we were in Victorian Times.

Talks of Byron and Wilde, we'll cruise down the Thames in the summertime.
Walks down Tower Bridge, St. Katherine Dock with millions of ideas on my mind.
Baker Streets, Knightsbridge, nights in Camden and a glass of coke with lime.

Alis Volat Propriis, she flies with her own wings.
Your elegance and eloquence made me feels so fine.
It was the prime time we were alive, forever on cloud nine.
"let's stay here for a little bit longer," I say.
"I know perhaps times like this now exists only on ripped pages of hardback first editions, but it hurts nobody to dream of a glorious time gone by."
