Welcome 2020: Things I learned in My Mid-Twenties.

To quote the American beauty industry mogul and self-made billionaire entrepreneur Kylie Jenner, 2019 has been the year of...realizing things. Alright, all kidding aside, this year has been the year of change, self-growth, self-discovery, amongst many other things. I reckon it's safe to say that this year, like the year before, has not been easy for me to live through. I supposed like many other young people that are of similar age as me, we are simply just trying our best to maneuver through life, and in the midst of doing so, we tend to forget to take care of ourselves mentally and physically.

Looking back this past year and reflecting on the things I have achieved, the new knowledge I have learned,  the places I have been and the people I have met. Life is in no shortage of surprises. There were highs and lows, hardships and rewards. But I intend to bring a new positive mindset in 2020. To be more focused and determined. I have big plans and goals for myself in the coming years and I have a feeling like 2020 is finally looking up for me.

So here's a list of things I have learned in my mid-twenties and I strive to live by every day:

1. Be curious, learn new things whenever you can.
2. Have conversations with yourself constantly, listen to your heart.
3. You are NEVER too old to do something.
4. Your job does not define you, it does not equal success.
5. Don't waste your life trashing other people, stop comparing.
6. Cut off toxic relationships and set yourself free.
7. Picking up new hobbies is always a good idea.
8. Be happy, cherish the moments and the little things.
9. Use your senses to live your life.
10. Do not rush things. Prioritize and tackle one thing at a time.

Wherever in the world, you are at this moment, lets a raise a glass and celebrate being alive and well, go out there and make your marks in history, achieve your dreams. Happy new year!

  9. Ah indeed these are excellent tips and approaches to the new year. I am hoping 2020 is going to be a better year then 2019. And love these photos. I had a shoot in this same exact spot! But it came out terrible lol. I used a photographer I found on AIRBNB and was terrible. I could not believe how bad the photos came out. But I am good now I met a photographer last time I was in Paris!

Oh love this, thanks for posting!
