Orbit

Earth orbits the almighty sun,

and the human race orbits our so-called life.

Don’t ever bother to question why.

Do we orbit for a purpose?

For a sense of worth and belonging?

For a sweet taste of success? 

I reckon we all dread the day we need to ask:

What is all of this for?

Do you orbit for your own growth,

Or for someone else’s validation?
